About GOAT Products API
GOAT Products extracts full product detail from GOAT (goat.com), giving you 29 structured columns. Three ways in, the same columns every time: paste a listing page URL — a brand page or a search results page, one field takes either (By Listing URL); type a bare keyword and we build the search URL for you (By Search); or hand it product URLs to enrich a list you already have (By Product URL). Every row carries the product record (brand, SKU, colorway, category, release date, story and an Images array with the hero shot first), an Attributes array holding the traits GOAT publishes for that product's category, and a Listings array that carries the pricing — one entry per size, shoe condition and box condition, each with its own lowest ask, instant ship ask, last sold price and stock status. There is no single product-level price, because a buyer orders one specific size in one specific condition: the price belongs to the size. If you want one cheapest figure for a product, take the minimum over the Listings array.
Resellers use GOAT Products to price inventory against the live ask for their exact size and condition, and analysts sweep a brand page to see how deep the supply is across a whole catalog in one run. Because a brand sweep returns the same full detail as a URL lookup, there is no second pass to build.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need two runs — one to find products, one to price them?
- No. A listing page or a keyword search returns the full product detail, sizes and asks in the same run, exactly as a product URL does. Use Max Products to take only the first N.
- Does one row cover every size?
- Yes. Each product is a single row, and its Listings array holds one entry per size, shoe condition and box condition, with the lowest ask, instant ship ask, last sold price and stock status for each. That array is where all the pricing lives — there is no product-level price column, because a buyer orders one specific size in one specific condition. If you want a single cheapest figure per product, take the minimum over the array. You are billed once per product, not per size. Sizes with nothing currently listed come back with no asking price — empty, not zero.
- Which input should I use?
- By Listing URL takes any GOAT listing page in one field — a brand page (goat.com/brand/salomon) for that brand's full catalog, or a search results page (goat.com/search?query=nike) to cross brands or honour a GOAT filter you put in the URL. We route by the shape of the URL you paste, so you don't pick between them. By Search does the same from a bare keyword — type 'jordan 1 chicago' and we build the search URL for you. Searches are relevance-ranked and drop roughly 30-40% of a brand, so a brand page as the Listing URL is the way to get a full catalog. By Product URL enriches a list you already have. GOAT caps any single query at 10,000 products, so the biggest brands come back capped.
- Is anything missing when I pass product URLs?
- Style Tags, Detail Tags and Merchandising Tags. GOAT serves those three from its catalog listing, so they fill on By Listing URL and By Search runs and come back empty on product URLs. Everything else is identical.
- What is the Attributes array?
- The traits GOAT publishes for that product's category, as attribute and value pairs — silhouette, nickname, midsole, upper material and designer for a sneaker. GOAT also sells apparel, accessories, bags, watches and media, and those traits are footwear-only, so a watch comes back with no attributes at all rather than a row of empty columns. It varies by category, which is why it is an array rather than fixed columns.
- What currency are the prices in?
- USD. The optional Country setting shapes which sellers and sizes are offered and their asking prices, but the prices are quoted in USD regardless.
- What fields are returned?
- 29 columns: Product ID, Product Name, SKU, Product URL, Brand, Colorway, Color, Category, Subcategory, Category Level 3, Category Level 4, Activities, Gender, Release Date, Season, Story, Style Tags, Detail Tags, Merchandising Tags, Special Type, Is Resellable, Direct Shipping, Max Offer, Size Type, Size Unit, Retail Price (what the product originally retailed for, not a live price), Images (one array, hero shot first), plus two arrays: Attributes, holding the traits GOAT publishes for that product's category, and Listings, which carries the live pricing — one entry per size, shoe condition and box condition, each with its own lowest ask, instant ship ask, last sold price and stock status.
