Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Mindcase Technologies Private Limited (“Mindcase”, “we”, “us”). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Prepaid-credits model
Mindcase runs on prepaid credits. You top up a credit balance, and those credits are consumed when you run agents. You are charged per delivered result, in the currency shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal — you only pay for the top-ups you choose to make.
2. Cancellation
Because there is no subscription or recurring charge, there is nothing to “cancel” in the usual sense. You can stop using Mindcase at any time. Any unused credits simply remain in your balance for when you return.
3. Refund eligibility
Credits are generally non-refundable once purchased, because they are prepaid. However, we will refund or credit your balance in the following cases:
- an agent run was charged but not delivered due to a Mindcase error;
- a duplicate or erroneous charge;
- a failed top-up where your payment was debited but credits were not added to your balance.
Beyond these cases, Mindcase may also issue refunds or goodwill credit at its discretion.
4. How charges work per run
You are charged per delivered result. Failed rows and duplicate rows are not billed. If a run partially fails, you are only charged for the results actually delivered to you.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@mindcase.co with:
- the payment ID for the charge in question, and
- the run ID (if the request relates to a specific run).
We review refund requests within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Razorpay, typically within about 5–7 business days, or issued as wallet credit to your Mindcase balance — whichever is appropriate for your case.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@mindcase.co — we can usually resolve issues faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
