Frequently asked questions

Do I need two runs — one to find products, one to price them?

No. A listing page or a keyword search returns the full product detail, sizes and market data in the same run, exactly as a product URL does. Use Max Products to take only the first N.

Does one row cover every size?

Yes. Each product is a single row, and its Sizes array holds one entry per size with its lowest ask, highest bid, last sale, 90-day average price, 90-day sales count, and ask and bid counts. That array is where the asks and bids live — there is no product-level ask or bid column, because a buyer orders one specific size. If you want a single cheapest figure per product, take the minimum over the array. The product-level market columns are StockX's own numbers, not a roll-up of the size rows: Last Sale is the most recent sale across the product, which the size rows can't tell you because they carry no sale dates, and the sales counts are StockX's own tallies, so they won't always add up to the size rows. You are billed once per product, not per size.

Which input should I use?

By Listing URL takes any StockX listing page in one field — a brand page (stockx.com/brands/adidas) for that brand's catalog, or a search results page (stockx.com/search?s=jordan) to cross brands and verticals. We route by the shape of the URL you paste, so you don't pick between them. By Search does the same from a bare keyword — type 'jordan 1 chicago' and we build the search URL for you. Searches are relevance-ranked and drop roughly 30-40% of a brand, so a brand page as the Listing URL is the way to get a full catalog. By Product URL enriches a list you already have. Prices, sizes and last sale come back every way in. The one data difference follows the URL, not the mode: a brand page carries the 12-month statistics — Price Volatility, Sales (12 Months), Average Price (12 Months) — plus Ask Inventory Type. A search page doesn't, so neither does By Search, and nor do product URLs. StockX caps every query at 1,000 products.

What does the size axis look like for things that aren't sneakers?

It follows the category. Sneakers come back as shoe sizes, apparel as garment sizes, and single-variant items like trading cards and art prints as one size. The Size Convention column tells you which scale a product uses.

What is the Attributes array?

The traits StockX publishes for that product's category, as attribute and value pairs — movement, case size and reference number for a watch; set, year and variation for a trading card; season, restock date and included accessories for a sneaker. It varies by category, which is why it is an array rather than fixed columns.

What currency are the prices in?

USD, in whole dollars. The optional Country setting scopes which StockX market the asks and bids come from, but prices are quoted in USD regardless.

What fields are returned?

35 columns: Product ID, Product URL, Primary Title and Secondary Title (the model and its colourway), Brand, Model, Colorway, Style ID, Category, Sub Category, Category Path, Content Group, Gender, Condition, Size Convention, Retail Price, Release Date, Description, Tags, Last Sale, Sales (72 Hours), Average Price (90 Days), Sales (90 Days), Price Volatility, Sales (12 Months), Average Price (12 Months), Bids, Ask Inventory Type, Express Ask Count, Express Ship Lowest Ask, Express Delivery Date, Express Latest Delivery Date, Images (one array, hero shot first), plus two arrays: Sizes, which carries the per-size pricing — lowest ask, highest bid, last sale, ask and bid counts, 90-day sales count and 90-day average for each size — and Attributes, holding the traits StockX publishes for that category.
