About WhatsApp Number Validator API
WhatsApp Number Validator checks a list of phone numbers against WhatsApp and returns one row per number: whether it is registered (Has WhatsApp), whether it is a business or personal account (Account Type), the Profile status text, the Identity country code, the Devices count, and for business accounts the full Business profile with display name, description, email, website, address and verification level. A number that cannot be read comes back as one row with Check Status invalid, so every number you send is accounted for.
Sales and growth teams use it to validate lead lists before a WhatsApp campaign, CRM owners use it to enrich contact records with the business name and website behind a number, and fraud and support teams use it to see whether a number belongs to a verified business account.

- Do I need to include the country code?
- Yes. Send each number with + and the country code, for example +14155552671. Spaces, dashes and brackets are fine and 00 works in place of +. A number without its country code may be read as another country's number, and one that cannot be read at all comes back with Check Status invalid.
- How fresh is the data?
- Every run checks the numbers live on WhatsApp at the time of the request. Nothing is served from a cache.
- Can I check multiple numbers in one run?
- Yes. Pass an array of up to 1,000 phone numbers in one request. You get one row per distinct number.
- How do I integrate with Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets, or Airtable?
- Call the API from any tool that can make an HTTP request: start a run with your numbers, then fetch the rows as JSON or CSV. Zapier, n8n and Make can do this with their HTTP steps, and the results drop straight into Google Sheets or Airtable.
- What fields are returned?
- Phone (E.164 with +), Has WhatsApp, Account Type (business or personal), Check Status (ok or invalid), and the Business, Profile, Identity and Devices objects. Business is filled for WhatsApp Business accounts and holds the display name, description, categories, email, websites, address, hours and verification level.
