# TikTok Sounds API

Finds TikTok sounds by keyword or looks up a specific sound's title, artist and usage stats by URL or ID.

**Pricing:** $0.001 per sound

**Endpoint:** `POST /v1/data/tiktok/sounds/run`

**Auth:** `Authorization: Bearer mk_live_...`

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `keywords` | array | No | Search terms used to find matching sounds, such as a song title and artist. |
| `region` | string | No | Two-letter country code to bias search results toward a region. |
| `soundUrls` | array | No | TikTok sound page URLs or numeric sound ids to fetch details for. |
| `maxResults` | integer | No | How many sounds to return in total. Defaults to 50; use 0 for all. Applies to Keyword search. |

## Example

`?wait=true` holds the request open until the run finishes (up to 60s) and returns the rows inline: one request, no polling.

## Longer runs

If the run is still going at the 60s ceiling you get back `{ job_id, status: "running" }` instead of rows (same if the result is over 100 rows; those come back `truncated`). Poll with that `job_id`:
