# TikTok Live Rooms API

Finds currently live TikTok rooms matching a keyword, or checks whether a specific creator is live right now.

**Pricing:** $0.001 per live room

**Endpoint:** `POST /v1/data/tiktok/live-rooms/run`

**Auth:** `Authorization: Bearer mk_live_...`

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `keywords` | array | No | Search terms to find currently live rooms that best match the topic. |
| `region` | string | No | Two-letter region code to localize the live search, for example US or JP. |
| `handles` | array | No | Usernames to check whether that creator is currently live. |
| `maxResults` | integer | No | How many live rooms to return in total. Defaults to 50; use 0 for all. Applies to Keyword search. |

## Example

`?wait=true` holds the request open until the run finishes (up to 60s) and returns the rows inline: one request, no polling.

## Longer runs

If the run is still going at the 60s ceiling you get back `{ job_id, status: "running" }` instead of rows (same if the result is over 100 rows; those come back `truncated`). Poll with that `job_id`:
