# SEC Insider Trades API

SEC Form 4 insider trades with filing URL, form type, filing date and issuer. Pass US tickers (SEC filers only) or filter by transaction code.

**Auth:** `Authorization: Bearer mk_live_...`

## Parameters

| `tickers` | array | Yes | One or more US stock tickers, e.g. AAPL or BRK-B. SEC data covers US-listed companies only: non-US listings (RELIANCE.NS) and market indices (NIFTY, SENSEX) are refused with a clear error. One request reads them all. |
| `daysBack` | integer | No | Days Back as a whole number. |
| `transactionCodes` | array | No | Which Form 4 transaction codes to include. Leave empty for P and S (open-market purchases and sales); pick All for every code. D, J and other rare codes cannot be filtered here: pick All and filter the Transaction Code column. |
| `includeDerivatives` | boolean | No | Include Derivatives. |
| `maxResults` | integer | No | How many trades to return in total. Defaults to 100; use 0 for all. |

## Example

`?wait=true` holds the request open until the run finishes (up to 60s) and returns the rows inline: one request, no polling.

## Longer runs

If the run is still going at the 60s ceiling you get back `{ job_id, status: "running" }` instead of rows (same if the result is over 100 rows; those come back `truncated`). Poll with that `job_id`:
