# Email Verification API

Check whether email addresses can receive mail. One row per address with a valid, invalid, risky or unknown verdict, a deliverability score and the checks behind it.

**Pricing:** $0.0015 per email

**Endpoint:** `POST /v1/data/email/verify/run`

**Auth:** `Authorization: Bearer mk_live_...`

## Parameters

| `emails` | array | Yes | Email addresses to check, one per item (e.g. media@stripe.com). Up to 5,000 per request; split longer lists across requests. Each address returns one row; an address that is not a well-formed email is refused before the request runs. |

## Example

`?wait=true` holds the request open until the run finishes (up to 60s) and returns the rows inline: one request, no polling.

## Longer runs

If the run is still going at the 60s ceiling you get back `{ job_id, status: "running" }` instead of rows (same if the result is over 100 rows; those come back `truncated`). Poll with that `job_id`:
