# ASOS Products API

ASOS products from any of 11 country stores: today's price and pre-sale price in the store currency, sizes in stock with per-size SKU and EAN, description, materials, rating and images. One row per product, from a keyword, an ASOS category or an ASOS search or category page URL.

**Pricing:** $0.0105 per product

**Endpoint:** `POST /v1/data/asos/products/run`

**Auth:** `Authorization: Bearer mk_live_...`

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|-----------|------|----------|-------------|
| `query` | string | No | A keyword to search ASOS for, e.g. 'levis 501' or 'kleid'. Plain words, not a URL. ASOS always shows its closest matches, so a misspelled keyword still returns products. |
| `category` | string | No | An ASOS category to browse, e.g. Men's Jeans. One of the listed categories; for any other ASOS category paste its page URL in ASOS URL instead. |
| `listing_url` | string | No | An ASOS search or category page URL, e.g. https://www.asos.com/men/jeans/cat/?cid=4208 or https://www.asos.com/us/search/?q=nike+air+force+1. The country store comes from the URL (/us/, /de/, /fr/ ...; no prefix = UK). Category pages work for the categories listed under Category. |
| `country` | string | No | Search and Category only. The ASOS country store to read: it sets the currency (GBP, USD, EUR, SEK, DKK, PLN, AUD), the language of product names and the size labels. United Kingdom by default. |
| `maxResults` | integer | No | How many products to return in total. Defaults to 100; use 0 for all. |

## Example

`?wait=true` holds the request open until the run finishes (up to 60s) and returns the rows inline: one request, no polling.

```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.mindcase.co/v1/data/asos/products/run?wait=true" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer mk_live_YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"params":{}}'
```

```python
import requests
resp = requests.post(
    "https://api.mindcase.co/v1/data/asos/products/run",
    params={"wait": "true"},
    headers={"Authorization": "Bearer mk_live_YOUR_API_KEY"},
    json={"params": {}},
)
rows = resp.json()["data"]
```

## Longer runs

If the run is still going at the 60s ceiling you get back `{ job_id, status: "running" }` instead of rows (same if the result is over 100 rows; those come back `truncated`). Poll with that `job_id`:

```bash
# 1) check status
curl https://api.mindcase.co/v1/jobs/JOB_ID \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer mk_live_YOUR_API_KEY"
# 2) when status == completed, fetch the rows
curl https://api.mindcase.co/v1/jobs/JOB_ID/results \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer mk_live_YOUR_API_KEY"
```
